Hobart FD4/75-3 Description
For long-term durability through high-volume settings, the Hobart FD4/75-3 commercial garbage disposal's grind and discharge housings are made of heavy aluminum. Its continuous-duty motor features a manual-reset thermal overload inherent protector to prevent damage, while its permanently lubricated ball bearings improve performance. This unit can be mounted to a 7-inch I.D. throat-opening cone and features a vinyl isolating ring that prevents metal-to-metal contact.
The Hobart FD4/75-3 garbage disposal unit's stationary shredder ring features four machine-ground primary-action breaker bars and 42 secondary-action grinding teeth, ensuring food waste is effectively ground into drainable particles. Its flywheel has a center-mounted breaker blade and measures 63⁄16 inches in diameter. This piece also includes two hardened ductile stainless steel cutter blocks that can be removed and replaced when needed. Overall, this unit measures 11 inches in diameter by 215⁄8 inches high.
