Hobart AM15VL-4 Description

The Hobart AM15VL-4 high-temp door-type dishwasher has a microcomputer-based control system that is protected by a stainless steel enclosure. The integrated, solid-state controls come with digital status indicators to let you know when the one cycle ends and another begins and when something is wrong with your unit. This microcomputer also controls all of the pumps and motors in the dishwasher.

This machine provides 1-, 2-, 4-, and 6-minute wash cycles. Up to 40 racks can be cleaned per hour, and each rack uses 0.74 gallons of water. This machine uses high-temperature water to sanitize dishes. An internal condensing system minimizes water vapor by using a feature called Energy Recovery. The heat and steam are captured during the full cycle and used to preheat incoming water for the next cycle. By removing most of the steam, a vent hood may not be needed with the Hobart AM15VL-4 high-temp door-type dishwasher.

Most of the dishwasher is constructed of stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. The chamber's handle is spring counterbalanced so you can easily open and close the chamber. A scrap screen and basket inside the dishwasher collect food scraps so they will not lodge into wash or rinse arms. Both of these types of arms rotate to ensure the dishes are fully sanitized and rinsed. They are also interchangeable and come in upper and lower positions.
