Designed for compact ice storage, the Follett SG1175S-48 ice bin features a single-door layout and a 1,185-pound storage capacity. Its stainless steel exterior resists corrosion. Inside, the poly liner helps prevent moisture accumulation and supports sanitary ice storage. A molded-in gasket provides a continuous seal, eliminating gaps that could lead to leaks or contamination. This unit includes an 82-ounce plastic ice scoop for convenient ice retrieval.
For controlled dispensing, the Follett SG1175S-48 upright ice bin is equipped with a SmartGATE® ice shield that regulates ice flow, preventing spills and reducing contact with stored ice. This shield locks into three positions and resets to the full down position when the bin reaches capacity. Its PowerHinge™ poly door system allows users to open and close the door with one hand. The stay-open hinge holds the door steady, while the ABS/poly top is custom cut for ice machine installation.
