Built with a single-door design, the Follett SG1080S-60 ice bin provides a 1,080-pound storage capacity for cube, flake, and Chewblet® ice. To facilitate ice retrieval, the unit includes an 82-ounce plastic ice scoop. Its stainless steel exterior resists corrosion and wear, while the poly liner inside the bin helps prevent moisture buildup to maintain sanitation. The molded-in gasket creates a secure seal to block leaks without requiring replacements.
For precise dispensing, the Follett SG1080S-60 upright ice bin features a SmartGATE® ice shield that regulates the flow of ice to minimize spills and reduce direct contact. This shield locks into three different positions and automatically returns to the full down position when the bin is full. Its PowerHinge™ poly door system enables single-handed opening and closing without needing external door catches. A stay-open hinge keeps the door in place when in use, while the corrosion-resistant ABS/poly top is cut to fit an ice machine for easy installation.
