Internally, the Follett 7UC112A-NW-CL-ST-00 ice dispenser/maker features components molded with antimicrobial Shield and is lit with UV lighting to reduce the development of mold and mildew. The unit is fitted with a Claris filter to catch particulates in incoming water. The unit can produce up to 100 pounds of ice per day and can reserve 7 pounds at a time. This model is drainless, allowing it to be installed nearly anywhere a water line and electricity connection are present.

The Follett 7UC112A-NW-CL-ST-00 Champion™ ice maker/dispenser is designed to be installed underneath a counter space and measures 15 inches wide by 22³/₈ inches deep by 33¹/₂ inches high. It is built for touchless operation with simple controls. Operators place drinkware underneath the nozzle and hover their finger over the sensor to dispense the ice. It produces nugget-style ice, a soft form that is safe to chew.
