For hands-free operation, the Follett 50HI425A-SI-00 wall-mount ice dispenser uses SensorSAFE™ infrared technology. It produces Chewblet® ice, otherwise known as nugget ice, and it operates with an air-cooled condenser. Using R404a refrigerant, this unit can make 425 pounds of ice per day. It mounts to the wall for versatile installation, and its storage bin holds 50 pounds of ice for use when needed. When the bin runs low on ice, it refills automatically for continued use.

The Follett 50HI425A-SI-00 nugget ice dispenser performs an automatic self-flushing cycle to ensure ice remains fresh and tasty; it's coated with Agion® antimicrobial to inhibit various microbial growth. To ensure minimal downtime, an entire cleaning and sanitizing cycle can be performed in 1 hour, and if maintenance is needed, the ice machine and panels can be removed. Providing durability and rust resistance, the cabinet, evaporator, and auger are made of stainless steel.
