The Globe GSGDUE10 Bistro double panini press has two smooth upper plates and one smooth lower plate. These cast iron grill plates are heavy duty, seasoned, and smooth so operators can scrape carbon and food off them. The body is made of stainless steel, so it resists rusting and denting. Wires are surrounded by a stainless steel tube that protects them from being damaged. The unit is controlled thermostatically—with a maximum temperature of 570 degrees Fahrenheit—and its on/off switch starts and stops operation quickly. Nonskid, rubber feet ensure the unit stays in place on countertops.
