The globe GSCS2-1 high-volume cheese shredder is intended for use in restaurants requiring large amounts of cheese, such as Italian establishments specializing in pasta and pizza. The machine presses down large blocks of cheese and shreds them at a rate of 65 pounds per minute using the included ³/₁₆-inch shredding plate. The large hopper can fit 6- to 8-pound blocks, and the machine is operated electronically.

The globe GSCS2-1 high-volume cheese shredder's durable stainless steel housing can be disassembled without tools for easy cleaning. The shredder operates at a single speed and features an overload protection feature with an automatic reset button and a position switch to ensure the hopper is engaged.
