The True TUC-67~SPEC1 Spec Series® undercounter refrigerator uses a factory-balanced, energy-efficient refrigeration system with guided airflow to provide uniform temperatures, which range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Equipped with state-of-the-art fan motors, this unit moves a consistent volume of air. Its condensing unit is located behind the front grill and slides out effortlessly for cleaning, while the evaporator's epoxy coating eliminates the potential of corrosion. Designed with a stainless steel finish and polyurethane insulation, this unit has 5-inch-diameter stem castors with lockable fronts and a 36-inch work surface height.

Swinging within cabinet dimensions, the aluminum-lined doors of the True TUC-67~SPEC1 refrigerator lock to prevent theft, and its one-piece magnetic gaskets are removable without tools for cleaning. This unit includes four PVC-coated wire shelves that are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments with four chrome-plated clips each. To match the cabinet interior, the shelf support pilasters are made of stainless steel. This model's exterior features an electronic temperature control with a digital display and a countertop front that is flush with the front of the doors.

To maintain a clean condensing coil, the fan motor blows in reverse for for a 20-second period each time the compressor cycles on. This feature helps remove dust collected on the coil so it doesn’t consume as much energy while cooling product. Though this mechanism can help lengthen the unit’s lifespan, it shouldn’t replace preventive maintenance carried out regularly.
