The fan motors in the True TUC-60D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator produce minimal heat by moving a consistent volume of air through the interior, as this guided airflow provides uniform product temperatures, which are adjustable from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. To reduce maintenance needs, an epoxy coating on the evaporator lowers corrosion risks.

The compressor’s fan motor runs in reverse for 20 seconds each time it starts up; this function blows away buildup and dirt from the condensing coil.  Though this feature improves efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and lengthens the unit’s lifespan, regular preventive maintenance will still need to be carried out. 

Stainless steel construction on the front, top, and ends of the True TUC-60D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator, as well as the drawer facings, liners, and frames. Its stainless steel drawer slides and rollers have a tool-free removal feature to ease cleanup. Each drawer can accommodate one full-size 12-inch by 20-inch by 6-inch food pan, or various pan configurations with divider bars. With self-closing, positive-seal, and 90-degree stay-open features, the door swings within the dimensions of the cabinet. Inside the door, product can sit on the floor and two wire shelves, which are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments to hold short or tall items.
