The True TUC-60-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator has a rear-accessible condensing unit that slides out for maintenance. Its capillary tube system has a self-contained design and uses environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Because they have high peak capacities, the fan motors reduce heat production and energy consumption.

Though it isn’t a substitute for regular preventive maintenance, the fan compressor’s self-cleaning feature helps lower energy consumption and improve operating performance. Each time it cycles on, the compressor’s fan motor reverses for period of 20 seconds, effectively blowing away any dirt or debris that’s settled on the condensing coil.

This True TUC-60-HC~SPEC3 Spec Series® undercounter refrigerator has a countertop front lined with the front of the doors, while the 16-gauge top and the 20-gauge doors are both durable. The unit's front, top, sides, and back are constructed of stainless steel, while high-density, polyurethane insulation reinforces the cabinet structure and solid doors. Stem castors measure 3 inches diameter to create a work surface height of 34 inches to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. The cabinet interior is lined with stainless steel for rust resistance, and to facilitate cleaning, its floor has rounded corners .
