Made of stainless steel, the drawer slides and rollers in the True TUC-48D-4-HC~SPEC3 Spec Series undercounter refrigerator are durable and removable without tools to simplify cleaning. The magnetic drawer gaskets are detachable and have a one-piece construction. Equipped with all-metal handles, all four drawers are comfortable to open. Each drawer can accommodate one full-size, 12-inch by 18-inch by 6-inch food storage box or one half-size and one third-size pan. Because the interior is made of stainless steel, it is strong and rust resistant, while coved corners in the floor eliminate cracks that could harbor bacteria.

To optimize performance by maintaining a clean condensing coil, the condenser’s fan motor reverses for 20 seconds each time it starts up; this blows away any buildup that’s settled on the coil. Though this mechanism improves efficiency and lengthens the unit’s lifespan, it functions best when used alongside routine preventive maintenance. 

The True TUC-48D-4-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator's electronic temperature control enables the operator to set the temperature at a level between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. To maintain these cold temperatures, the refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—a refrigerant type that is more eco-friendly than traditional options. Its 3-inch-diameter stem castors elevate the unit, creating an ADA-compliant, 34-inch work surface height.
