For corrosion resistance, the True TUC-48D-4-HC undercounter refrigerator has an evaporator that has been epoxy coated, and to comply with ADA requirements, its 3-inch-diameter stem castors create a 34-inch work surface height. Corrosion-resistant GalFan coats the steel exterior back, while its front, top, and ends are stainless steel. Designed with coved corners, this unit's stainless steel floor does not have crevices that could trap debris and harbor bacteria. The rest of the interior has a clear-coated aluminum liner that facilitates cleaning and increases durability.

This True TUC-48D-4-HC undercounter refrigerator's drawer facings and cabinet structure are foamed in place with polyurethane insulation, keeping cold air inside to maintain the set temperature level. Equipped with four drawers, this unit enables operators to refrigerate four full-size, 12-inch by 18-inch food storage boxes—one in each drawer. Constructed of stainless steel, the removable drawer slides and rollers are heavy duty, while the magnetic drawer gaskets are detachable to simplify cleanup.

The compressor’s fan motor employs a self-cleaning mechanism that makes the unit operate more efficiently. Each time the compressor cycles on, the fan blows air in reverse for 20 seconds to clean the coil, removing any dust, dirt, or buildup. Intended to be paired with regular preventative maintenance, this feature elongates the unit’s lifespan and optimizes performance.
