The True TUC-48D-2-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator provides cold storage in a door section and two drawers. The unit has a positive-seal, self-closing door with a 90-degree stay-open feature that enables users to conveniently stock and clean the interior. Each door and drawer is fitted with a heavy-duty, all-metal handle. Locks are unavailable for the drawers but there is a provided lock for the door section. No tools are needed to remove the one-piece, magnetic drawer and door gaskets.

Each drawer can hold a 12-inch by 18-inch by 6-inch pan. Divider bars are available for the True TUC-48D-2-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator if operators want to hold different pan sizes. The heavy-duty drawer rollers and slides are constructed of stainless steel and are removable without tools. It has stainless steel exterior facings and liners with stainless steel frames on each drawer. The door is made of a stainless steel exterior with a clear-coated aluminum liner, matching the cabinet interior.

The unit's compressor fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning mechanism that removes settled dirt and debris from the condensing coil. Each time the compressor starts up the fan directs air in reverse for 20 seconds to blow buildup off the coil. Designed to be paired with routine preventative maintenance, this feature lengthens the unit’s lifespan and optimizes performance.
