The refrigeration system in the True TUC-48D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator has electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors that move consistent volumes of air. The factory-balanced refrigeration system maintains cabinet temperatures of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Operators can set the temperature level to suit their application.

The cabinet rear slides out for simple maintenance of the condensing unit. Shelves in the cabinet measure 21⁹⁄₁₆ inches in length by 16 inches in depth and are constructed of heavy duty, PVC-coated wire. These shelves are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments.

The self-contained capillary tube system of this True TUC-48D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator uses environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The guided airflow from this factory-balanced, oversized refrigeration system provides uniform temperatures to the product. To maintain a clean, optimally performing condensing coil over time, the compressor’s fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning function. Each time it starts up, it runs in reverse to blow away settled dirt and debris from the coil. This feature, when combined with regular preventive maintenance, can lower energy consumption and lengthen the unit’s lifespan.
