The True TUC-36-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator system has electronically commutated condenser and evaporator fan motors that move a consistent volume of air, reducing energy use and heat production. Its factory-balanced system is designed to be energy efficient, with guided airflow that provides uniform product temperatures throughout the cabinet. For swift maintenance, the condensing unit slides out from the back of the cabinet.

When the compressor starts up, the fan motor directs air in reverse to remove debris, buildup, and settled dust from the condensing coil. With a cleaner coil, the unit performs more efficiently; this self-cleaning function can also lengthen its overall lifespan. However, users should still carry out preventive maintenance regularly. 

Operators can adjust the temperature level in the cabinet from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit to suit specific operations. The True TUC-36-HC~SPEC3 commercial undercounter refrigerator uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional refrigerants. In the cabinet, four coated wire shelves hold stored product. These shelves are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments, and the shelf support pilasters and cabinet interior are made of the same material.
