The True TSSU-72-08-HC~SPEC3 ADA prep station features a primarily stainless steel construction, ensuring its body is durable enough to withstand high-volume use in commercial kitchens. This unit measures 72³/₈ inches wide by 30¹/₈ inches deep by 34 inches tall when measured to the countertop. This height ensures the unit is accessible for ADA compliance. Its interior, which is accessible through its three 20-gauge heavy-duty metal doors, follows this trend with both its coved-corner floor and walls being made of stainless steel. The cabinet's interior can comfortably store six PVC-coated wire shelves, each of which can be adjusted in increments of ¹/₂ an inch to fit various configurations. The doors can be opened using its metal handles, and they remain open if needed due to its holding mechanism, After hours, these doors can be locked to prevent tampering. Its top can hold eight sixth-sized poly pans, and to preserve the freshness of stored onions, tomatoes, cheese, and other condiments, operators can lower its stainless steel cover over them. For an elegant workspace that's easy to clean, it features an 11³/₄-inch-deep removable polyethylene cutting board at its front. To make maneuvering simple, it rests on a series of 3-inch castors.

Designed to hold temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit, the True TSSU-72-08-HC~SPEC3 ADA prep table creates cold air generated by eco-friendly R290 refrigerant and circulated using a sealed capillary tube system. Its evaporator features large fan motors for pushing the air through, while its guided air system ensures even temperature distribution. To further lock in cold air, the entire cabinet is foamed in using a layer of polyurethane insulation. Users can monitor and adjust the temperature through its front-facing control and display panel, and to protect against mechanical failure, the evaporator lubricates itself and is wrapped in epoxy for further protection. Additionally, operators and mechanics can quickly access the condenser to diagnose problems through its rear-located hatch
