The top of the True Refrigeration TSSU-60-18M-B-HC~SPEC3 prep cabinet is designed to hold 18 sixth-sized pans of lunch meat, tomatoes, cheese, and other sandwich ingredients at a time; it comes with a built-in insulated cover to preserve the ingredient freshness. This unit's cover, interior, and exterior are made of stainless steel to offer advanced protection against abrasions and dents, and the interior cabinet can be accessed through either of its two 20-gauge doors, which remain propped over a 90-degree angle for stocking and product retrieval. The interior cabinet features coved-corner floors and a series of shelf racks spaced in ¹/₂-inch increments, allowing users to insert four PVC-coated wire shelves in a variety of configurations. For all-in-one use, its top also features an 8⁷/₈-inch deep cutting board made of polyethylene, and this board can be completely removed for quick cleaning. To allow it to fit into most kitchen settings, it measures 60³/₈ inches wide by 34¹/₈ inches deep by 40³/₈ inches tall.

The True TSSU-60-18M-B-HC~SPEC3 prep station utilizes R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to hold the unit at an ideal temperature between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit in an eco-friendly manner. Temperatures are adjusted using the unit’s front-facing display panel, and the unit’s guided airflow system evenly disperses temperatures across the entire body of the machine. Cold air is circulated due to its isolated capillary tube system, while its layer of polyurethane insulation locks in that air for greater efficiency. Its evaporator features large fan blades and a sealed chamber designed to lubricate its motor, combined with its epoxy coating to protect the unit from mechanical failure. For added support, its condenser can be removed by accessing it through its rear hatch.
