True TSSU-27-12M-C-HC ADA 27" TSSU Series Mega Top Sandwich/Salad Prep Table w/ Refrigerated Base, 115v

Made of stainless steel, the True TSSU-27-12M-C-HC prep table has a durable top, front, and ends to resist stains, scratches, and dents, while the aluminum-coated steel back provides corrosion resistance. Its door is hinged on the left—so it opens from the right—and has a 12-inch, recessed handle. To streamline loading and unloading products, the door stays open past 90 degrees and will self-close if opened less than 90 degrees. Cold-air leaks are prevented with a magnetic gasket around the door. Its stainless steel interior floor has coved corners for efficient cleanup, and to retain cold air, the entire structure is insulated with polyurethane that has been foamed in place. Adjustable shelves in the base hold extra product, and the aluminum-wrapped, clear-coated interior resists corrosion.

A cutting board and food pan compartment are on top of the unit for prepping ingredients. The cutting board reaches from one end of the unit to the other and provides a space to assemble sandwiches, salads, and other dishes. Foods can be slid across the board as employees grab ingredients from the chilled polycarbonate pans, and as many as 12 different ingredients can be held in the included sixth-size pans. Between uses, an insulated lid can cover the pans, keeping ingredients cool and saving energy.

The set temperature in the True TSSU-27-12M-C-HC sandwich and salad prep table ranges from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit and is maintained by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is metered by the self-contained capillary tube system. Because the evaporator is coated in epoxy, it resists corrosion. Extending the unit's lifespan, it operates using an automatic self-cleaning feature. When the compressor starts, the condensing fan motor reverses to remove dust from the condensing coil. To provide ideal temperatures and operate at peak efficiency, this mechanism works best when combined with routine maintenance. The refrigeration system is accessible from the unit's back, sliding out for servicing. It comes with 3-inch-diameter castors so it can be moved to clean underneath.
