To resist dents, scratches, and corrosion, the True TS-23G-2-HC~FGD01 one-section reach-in refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel. Its cabinet is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, while magnetic gaskets around the doors prevent cold-air leaks. This unit has two glass half doors and LED lights to increase product visibility. Inside the cabinet, items are stored on three PVC-coated, adjustable shelves, and open food product can be held in this unit.

Because the self-contained refrigeration system is mounted on the bottom, it lifts the lowest shelf slightly to prevent staff from stooping while stocking or servicing. Its evaporator is coated in rust-resistant epoxy, and the condenser and evaporator fan motors are electronically commutated to reduce heat production and energy consumption. Using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and a capillary tube system, the True TS-23G-2-HC~FGD01 single-section refrigerator maintains a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit.

The condensing coil's surface is routinely cleaned off with the reverse condensing fan motor mechanism. When the unit's compressor starts up, the fan directs air toward the coil to blow off dust and debris collection. This mechanism enables the coil to work as intended and for longer periods of time. Preventative maintenance should still be carried out on the coil.
