To streamline cleaning and maintenance, the True T-23F-FLX-HC refrigerator/freezer's condenser is bottom mounted. This system features a series of capillary tubes that channel temperatures between -10 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the unit. For optimized temperature retention, the cabinet is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane. Users can observe fluctuations in temperature using the external thermostat. Suitable for frozen or chilled product, this unit is convertible—meaning it can be configured from a refrigerator to a freezer with the behind-the-grill toggle switch. For increased air circulation, the condenser and evaporator fans are electronically commutated and function at high speeds; simultaneously, rear airflow guards provide unobstructed space for air movement. To minimize the risk of corrosion, the evaporator coil is finished with a protective layer of epoxy, and to reduce frost build-up when freezer mode is engaged, the unit has an integral automatic defrost cycle that's time initiated and time terminated.

The T-Series refrigerator/freezer's door features a sturdy stainless steel exterior and a clear-coated aluminum liner. This door closes automatically and seals securely against the door frame with a single-piece magnetic door gasket, which can be removed without tools for cleaning. A 12-inch-long recessed door handle is secured to the face of the door with foamed-in-place sheet metal. Because the doors are supplied with standard locks, products remain safe throughout closing periods.

For enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, the True T-23F-FLX-HC one-section refrigerator/freezer features a stainless steel front with anodized aluminum ends and a GalFan-coated steel back. The welded steel frame rail is finished with black powder coating and is mounted on (4) 4-inch stem castors for mobility during cleaning and maintenance; two of these castors lock for stabilization. To withstand moisture over time, the aluminum interior and shelf-pilasters are clear coated, while the floor is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The floor features coved corners to ease cleaning. The unit includes (3) 22⁷/₈-inch-long by 23¹⁄₄-inch-wide wire shelves finished with moisture-resistant PVC coating, as well as twelve total chrome-plated shelf clips; these clips can be moved in ¹⁄₂-inch increments to accommodate rotating inventory. So staff can clearly view the stored contents, the interior is illuminated with overhead LED lights. Overall, this unit measures 27 inches wide by 30¹/₈ inches deep by 83³⁄₈ inches high.
