To preserve interior conditions, the Everest Refrigeration ESPT-2S-2S pass-thru refrigerator has 2¹/₂ inches of polyurethane insulation sandwiched between its metal paneling. This unit has a factory preset temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit, though operators can program temperatures between 33 and 54 degrees Fahrenheit using the multi-functional digital controls. These controls have an audible overheat alarm that will sound if the cabinet experiences a sudden temperature increase. To permit operators to closely monitor interior temperatures, this unit has an easy-to-read LED display.

The Everest Refrigeration ESPT-2S-2S pass-thru refrigerator has a self-contained refrigeration system to simplify maintenance and installation, and it was a top mounted configuration to keep integral components away from floor debris. The cabinet is made of stainless steel to provide durability and has a pass-thru design to provide access from the front and back of the unit. This two-section unit has four solid doors with recessed handles and magnetic door gaskets to provide a tight seal. The doors self-close to retain cool air during busy shifts. Staff can store food items on the six epoxy-coated steel wire shelves, which can be adjusted using the stainless steel clips.
