Everest Refrigeration ECB82-84D4 Description
To prevent collision hazards, the Everest Refrigeration ECB82-84D4 chef base has rounded exterior corners and recessed handles on each of its four drawers. To ensure long-lasting durability, this unit has a stainless steel interior and exterior and a heavy-duty, 16-gauge stainless steel worktop. This item is designed to support additional cooking equipment stacked on the worktop and is adorned with corner guards to keep items from sliding off. This base is equipped with four drawers and has a total weight capacity of 1,084 pounds. To provide a tight seal, each drawer is equipped with a magnetic snap-in drawer gasket.
To improve recovery times during heavy use, the Everest Refrigeration ECB82-84D4 chef base has 21/2 inches of polyurethane insulation sandwiched between its metal paneling. This base uses R290 refrigerant to reach set temperatures, which must be programmed using the digital controls and LED display located on the front left of the unit. This unit has a factory preset temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit but can achieve temperatures between 33 and 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Operators should note that this unit requires a minimum 6-inch clearance between any cooking equipment's heating element and the worktop.
