Compatible with restaurants and catering businesses, the Carter-Hoffmann PH1800 mobile heated cabinet's tray racks and channel slides hold (29) 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pans, and the tray racks can be removed for repositioning or cleaning as needed. Its bottom-mounted convection heating system blows heat throughout the cabinet uniformly, eliminating cold spots that could impact food quality. Operators can adjust temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit using the mechanical controls, and a remote sensing bulb provides an accurate temperature readout on the dial thermometer. Because it's a convection system, it can heat and recover temperatures quickly, and its door is filled with high-density, 1-inch-thick fiberglass insulation to preserve heat and minimize temperature fluctuations. The heating system can be removed in the field for cleaning and maintenance, minimizing the need for costly service calls.

For smooth maneuvering, the Carter-Hoffmann PH1800 heated transport cart is mounted on 5-inch swivel polyurethane casters, which can turn and reverse; two casters include brakes that secure the unit in place when necessary. The casters are positioned in an offset, wheel-ahead pattern, preventing two casters from rolling over uneven surfaces simultaneously, which could cause the cart to overturn. Operators can steer the unit with two vertical aluminum push handles, and a wraparound vinyl bumper is built onto the base to absorb shock and minimize cart and wall damage during transport. This 27.88-inch-wide by 36-inch-deep by 58-inch-high unit has a fully welded stainless steel construction, is simple to wipe clean, and resists rust and corrosion over time.
