To optimize cooking stations, the Carter-Hoffmann HP58 plate warmer can be mounted on counters or shelves near kitchen equipment. The 58-inch-wide unit can support 280 pounds, while the 14-inch cavity depth accommodates 12³⁄₄-inch-diameter plates. High-density insulation and a double-walled, welded construction retain heat, and its interior and exterior are made of stainless steel—a durable material that resists rusting and facilitates cleaning. Accessing the warmed plates is convenient because of the door's flip-up design. Made of aluminum, the door is blue powder-coated and has a built-in menu card holder.

Mounted in the top of this Carter-Hoffmann HP58 heated plate holder, its convection heating system uses fans to disperse heat, and this design ensures the temperature throughout the unit is even. Temperatures can be set on a level between 120 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit, but it is factory set at 155 degrees Fahrenheit. Minimizing oil buildup, the dishwasher-safe grease filter protects the components and prevents system failures.
