The Barska AX12038 biometric wall safe uses fingerprint recognition technology to scan users' fingerprints and unlock the unit. Great for large companies, this system can store as many as 120 fingerprints, and for additional security, it's locked with two motorized deadbolts. This system is powered by four included AA batteries; a low-battery warning indicates when the batteries need to be replaced. In case the batteries die, it comes with two emergency backup keys.
This Barska AX12038 biometric safe features a recessed design for a flush appearance, while its pre-drilled mounting holes simplify in-wall installation. This steel unit comes in black for a sleek, classic aesthetic and measures 152⁄5 inches wide by 33/4 inches deep by 2073⁄100 inches high overall. Its interior measures 133⁄4 inches wide by 31⁄2 inches deep by 183⁄4 inches high and features two removable shelves to organize confidential files or jewelry. To preserve the original condition of stored contents, its protective floor mat minimizes scratching risks.
