Garland XPE12 Description
The Garland XPE12 XPress commercial press griddle uses two plates to sandwich food products, cooking them on both sides for quick grilling. Its top platen is raised and lowered quietly via a lift system, which adjusts automatically to ensure grilling quality. The bottom plate is made of 3⁄4-inch carbon steel; heat-up and recovery times are much faster than thicker plates, though it doesn’t hold heat quite as well.
Splash guards encircle splatter messes in the Garland XPE12 clam shell griddle. These guards lead into side-mounted grease pans for food waste collection. The stainless steel sides, front, and top resist dents, scrapes, and corrosion. Programmable controls offer consistent cooking by reducing temperature fluctuations.
