The Garland SHDUCL7000555 commercial induction range is made to be dropped into a countertop cutout. It has coils inside that are designed to create a magnetic field above the cooking surface. When induction-ready cookware comes in contact with the field, electrons in the metal of the pan vibrate and create friction. With this cooking method, cooklines are more efficient than ones that use traditional electric or gas units.
Measuring 11.81 inches by 23.62 inches, the cooktop on this Garland SHDUCL7000555 drop-in induction range has two separate sections. Chefs can adjust the temperature of the burners with a rotary dial that has 12 power settings. For overheat protection, the range has an electronic system that monitors the temperature of various components.
