The KitchenAid KSM70SKXXCU speed stand mixer measures 145/8 inches long by 161/2 inches wide. It fits a 7-quart capacity bowl to hold product, and because it's constructed of stainless steel, it's durable and corrosion resistant. Because its motorhead has a stationary design, it utilizes a bowl-lifting lever to elevate or lower the bowl; the bowl can fit a 1-piece pouring shield that features a large chute to reduce mess as products are transferred. So the bowl remains secure, the mixer features locating pins and a spring latch to keep it in place. Its integrated ergonomic handle is simple to hold.
To streamline operation, the KitchenAid KSM70SKXXCU mixer has 11 total speeds; its SoftStart™ attribute lowers mixing speed at startup to minimize splashes or spills of product. It ships with a coated flat beater, double-flex edge beater, coated dough hook, and an 11-wire whip for smoothly mixing, creaming, kneading, or whipping ingredients. Its speed dial can be rotated to speed zero to turn the unit off, and the attachments can be removed from the shaft for easy cleaning. To maintain its Pistachio green, the mixer should be wiped down with a slightly damp soft-fibered cloth.
