The Hoshizaki UR60B-D2 undercounter refrigerator is a two-section unit constructed of stainless steel. One section is a cabinet while the other section features two drawers for storage. This stainless steel construction is durable and corrosion resistant, intended to withstand the constant wear and tear of a commercial kitchen. The unit is made mobile by its four casters—two of which are equipped with brakes. Measuring 60 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 33³/₄ inches tall, the refrigerator is designed for placement under countertops or workstations in an existing kitchen layout.

The refrigeration system is self-contained and uses a capillary tube system to circulate R290 refrigerant, keeping internal temperatures at a set level between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit. This refrigerant is eco-friendly to help reduce environmental impact, and the evaporator's coils are coated in epoxy to protect it from corrosion and extend its service life. The whole unit is insulated from outside ambient temperatures by polyurethane foam.

The Hoshizaki UR60B-D2 two-section undercounter refrigerator's internal cabinet is made of stainless steel, and the cabinet boasts a stainless steel door with a recessed aluminum handle. The cabinet is equipped with an epoxy-coated shelf measuring 27¹/₄ inches wide by 16 inches deep—it's adjustable in ¹/₂-inch increments. The second section in the unit features two drawers; the top drawer is 22¹/₂ inches deep and the bottom drawer is 14⁷/₁₀ inches deep.
