Built to endure commercial applications, the Hoshizaki UR48B-LP undercounter refrigerator features a durable stainless steel construction with 2 inches of polyurethane foam insulation to help maintain interior conditions. Inside, the space spans 12 cubic feet and is fitted with two epoxy-coated steel shelves that can be adjusted in ¹/₂-inch increments via the aluminum pilasters. Affixed to the front of the cabinet is its two solid, self-closing doors fitted with aluminum recessed handles and magnetic gaskets.

For intuitive operation and for ease of maintenance, the Hoshizaki UR48B-LP low-profile refrigerator features a rear mounted, self-contained refrigeration system. It utilizes an innovated air distribution system to cool the interior evenly. To set the desired operating temperature, staff must access the dial control located inside the cabinet. It can be set between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit. For safe and efficient operation, the system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
