Hoshizaki UF27B-D2 Description
Part of the Steelheart series, the Hoshizaki UF27B-D2 undercounter freezer sports a durable stainless steel interior and exterior that resists corrosion. Its interior holds 6.21 cubic-feet of product within its two stainless steel drawers that roll out with 16-gauge stainless steel slides and acetal rollers. For added storage, users can pull these drawers out with their extruded aluminum handles for access to two full-size and two fourth-size pans, collectively. This unit is attached to four 4-inch casters to facilitate mobility and is insulated throughout the drawers and cabinet to maintain set temperatures between -10 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Hoshizaki UF27B-D2 reach-in cold chest preserves cold temperatures with its even air distribution system and self-contained refrigeration unit. In its rear-mounted refrigeration, an enamel-coated evaporator initiates hot gas removal, which works with hydrocarbon R290 refrigerant to expel hot air from the storage cavities. Once the hot air is removed, the air distribution system circulates cold air for an even chill, and timed defrosts help ensure all important parts resist ice damage.
