The Hoshizaki KM-1340MAJ/B-500SF ice maker with bin is simple to install because its ice machine head has a self-contained condenser. This condenser is cooled by air and its air filters are removable for maintenance. It produces as much as 1,275 pounds of crescent cube ice in a day—this style of ice is ideal for bars, restaurants, and smoothie bars that need lots of ice to blend or serve in cold drinks.

This Hoshizaki KM-1340MAJ/B-500SF ice maker with bin holds 500 pounds of ice in its storage compartment. Its door is hinged at the top and opens from the front. The bin is treated with H-Guard Plus® antimicrobial agent to inhibit the growth of unsanitary bacteria and mildew, keeping ice fresh tasting. To prevent ice from melting, the bin is insulated with polyurethane.
