To inhibit unsanitary bacterial growth, the Hoshizaki F-1501MWJ/B-1300SS flake ice machine and bin are protected with antimicrobial H-Guard Plus®. Its stainless steel exterior withstands heavy use, and it can produce 1,624 pounds of flake ice every 24 hours, depending on ambient conditions. Flake ice is great for making blended beverages and chilling seafood and salad on buffets. For clear visibility into the bin, it features top windows, while an infrared bin sensor ensures ice doesn't overflow in the bin.

The Hoshizaki F-1501MWJ/B-1300SS ice machine and bin combo is designed with an Advanced CleanCycle24™ feature that removes sediment and impurities from ice by flushing the evaporator for 2 seconds every hour. Because this ice maker is a water-cooled unit, it produces ice more efficiently than an air-cooled unit, but it uses a significant amount of water. This unit has an ideal ambient temperature range of 45 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit and uses R404A refrigerant.
