The John Boos ST6R5-2472GBK commercial work table's 16-gauge stainless steel top is more economical than thick 14 gauge and stronger than thin 18 gauge. With this durability, the unit is ideal for manual prep work or using small equipment such as choppers, dicers, and food processors. This top has a 5-inch-tall backsplash that catches splatter and a front edge that doesn't have sharp points. Because the side edges are turned down 90 degrees, they can be lined up flush to equipment and walls. The base is made of galvanized steel—a less durable construction that resists corrosion. Its legs have crossbars that maintain structural stability and bullet feet that adjust to prevent wobbling on uneven floors.
