This two-section unit holds 11.2 cubic feet of interior space, with self-closing doors that include recessed handles for streamlined access. Two plastic-coated wire shelves inside the cabinet are supported by stainless steel racking that enables easy sliding and repositioning to accommodate a range of frozen products. Foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation surrounds the interior to help maintain temperature consistency.

Equipped with a digital temperature controller and LED display, the U-Star USUCFZ-48 undercounter freezer makes it simple to monitor interior conditions and adjust settings as needed. The refrigeration system uses R-404A refrigerant and operates within a temperature range of -7 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Automatic defrosting is initiated through the control system to limit frost buildup and reduce maintenance needs. The 304 stainless steel interior resists corrosion and simplifies cleanup, while the 430 stainless steel exterior withstands wear.
