The Thermo-kool TK47BCF-2 blast chiller and shock freezer is made of high-quality stainless steel for the durability and corrosion resistance needed to withstand consistent back-of-house use. The stainless steel walls are insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane. This machine is designed to support a remote condensing unit for blast chilling and freezing, which is not included with the unit.

The Thermo-kool TK47BCF-2 machine measures 62 inches wide by 52⁵/₈ inches deep by 86 inches tall and can hold 20 full size food pans. The unit's door is heated to prevent frost buildup. This machine can run automatically or manually and is equipped with food and air probes. When paired with a condensing unit, it can chill 470 pounds of food from 165 degrees Fahrenheit to 37 degrees Fahrenheit in 2 hours and can freeze 310 pounds of food from 165 degrees Fahrenheit to 0 degrees Fahrenheit in 4 hours.
