The Thermo-kool TK47BC-1 blast chiller is constructed of stainless steel and measures 62 inches wide by 52⁵/₈ inches deep by 85 inches high. This roll-in unit is compatible with a remote condenser, which is sold separately. The unit can hold 40 full-size food pans and rapidly chills cooked foods. The chiller is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation.

The Thermo-kool TK47BC-1 blast chiller’s door is equipped with a heated door frame that prevents frost buildup. When connected to a condensing unit, this machine chills 470 pounds of food from 165 degrees Fahrenheit to 37 degrees Fahrenheit in 2 hours. The control system on this blast chiller can run fully automatically or be operated manually, while its various cycles include soft chill, hard chill and evaporator defrost.
