This Thermo-kool TK30BC-2 floor model blast chiller’s electric and refrigeration components are assembled on a 304 stainless steel uniframe with a modular design for easier installation. The 40-character control panel provides the following programming and cycles: soft chill, hard chill, and evaporator defrost. The remote condensing unit isn't included, though when installed, it allows the unit to blast chill up to 300 pounds of product from 165 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit within two hours. After completing its preset cycle, this unit enters a holding mode to keep items at safe temperatures until further action is taken. For additional functionality and purpose, this controller stores 150 recipes and has a built-in dry contact for an external alarm or phone dialer connection.

The Thermo-kool TK30BC-2 floor model blast chiller is fitted with one door mounted on a heavy-duty “U” channel frame. Users can regularly heat the door frame through the control panel to reduce frost—ensuring easy, consistent access so the door doesn`t freeze to the frame. The interior of this unit features 4-inch panels with a durathane tongue-and-groove hard rail perimeter for abrasion resistance against equipment. The exterior is made of 304 stainless steel to resist abrasions and corrosion, while the interior sports a mirror-finished 304 stainless steel construction. Though this unit regularly upkeeps temperatures with the assistance of 404a hydrocarbon refrigerant using a three-way airflow system, its polyurethane insulation provides additional assistance with temperature keeping.
