The Thermo-kool TK26BCF-1 floor model roll-in blast chiller and shock freezer’s electrical and refrigeration components are set up on a modular uniframe chiller system that eases installation. Once this unit is installed, it benefits from a three-way air-forced system to assist with accelerating R404a refrigerant along the unit’s interior cabinet, allows various chilling and freezing processes to take place. The unit’s 40-character control panel filters between the following cycles: soft chill, hard chill, shock freeze, and evaporator defrost to accomplish many day-to-day tasks. This unit blast chills 220 pounds of product from 165 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit and shock freezes 140 pounds of product within four hours when installed with the remote condensing unit (sold separately).

This Thermo-kool TK26BCF-1 floor model roll-in blast chiller’s 36-inch depth and 86-inch height can accommodate one rack as large as 27 inches wide by 29 inches deep by 74 inches high. Meanwhile, it grants space for other configurations like (26) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2¹/₂-inch pans or 13 sheet pans. The body of this unit supports an all 304 stainless steel construction that offers strength, abrasion resistance, and minimal corrosion. To prolong its lifespan and efficiency, this unit consists of 4-inch panels and a patented urethane tongue-and-groove hard rail perimeter. For consistent temperature keeping so items remain at food-safe temperatures, the interior is insulated with CFC-free polyurethane. This unit’s door sits on a high-strength “U” channel frame, and to prevent frost build up, it heats through electronic control.
