This floor model unit blast chills 220 pounds of product from 165 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit within two hours when used with the remote condensing unit (sold separately). Its 40-character display screen and controls are simple to navigate, providing operators with on-screen programming and operation updates. Selectable cycles range from soft chill, hard chill, evaporator defrost. For utmost efficiency when maintaining food-safe temperatures, R404a refrigerant facilitates the operation of the three-way indirect airflow system, and the food probe and air probe consistently monitor interior temperatures.

This Thermo-kool TK26BC-1 blast chiller measures 52 inches wide by 46¹/₈ inches deep by 85 inches high. It has a high-capacity interior space capable of holding 1 rack size with a 74-inch height, (26) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2¹/₂-inch pans, and (13) sheet pans. The interior cavity remains secure with a heavy-duty door, which is reinforced with a “U” channel that adds to its strength. The door frame heats when controlled through the unit’s electronic control system, deterring iced entrances for smooth services. This unit features a durable 304 stainless steel construction from the front, back, and sides for a lasting lifespan in appearance—reducing rust and scratches.
