The Thermo-kool TK140BCF-2 floor model roll-in blast chiller and shock freezer features an overall size of 62 inches wide by 139⁵/₈ inches deep by 87 inches high, though it has a 176³/₈ inch depth with the door open. Its tall door supports the insertion of three racks with a height that measures 75 inches. To support various capacities while warping, scratching, or corroding minimally, this roll-in blast chiller features a durable 2-inch floor made of reinforced 304 stainless steel. The perimeter of the unit is surrounded by 4-inch panels that are foamed in with CFC-free high-density polyurethane for added insulation. While these temperatures remain consistent, this unit features one temperature probe and one air probe to monitor the cold environment.

A two-line, 40-character control system simplifies the Thermo-kool TK140BCF-2 floor model roll-in blaster’s operation. Users can monitor and input various cycles, such as soft chill, hard chill, and evaporator defrost, though a remote condensing unit is sold separately to provide blast chilling and shock freezing. For even cooling around the front and back of the cabinet’s interior, this unit benefits from a three-way air-forced system and multi-point injection evaporator. To minimize its impact on the ozone layer, this chiller and freezer duo uses R404a hydrocarbon refrigerant. At high freeze temperatures, the door frame has electronically controlled heating to reduce the collection of frost.
