For a neutral, unobtrusive appearance in convenience stores, supermarkets, delis, and ice cream parlors, the Omcan 46505 (FR-CN-0600) chest freezer's exterior is powder-coated white. While its steel exterior provides lasting rust and corrosion resistance to preserve its original appearance, its aluminum interior simplifies cleaning during inventory changes. So staff or customers can access a specific section, it features two solid, flat lids that stay in place when opened, easing product insertion and removal. To deter theft or tampering when it's placed in the back of house, these lids can be locked. This 76-inch-wide by 28-inch-deep by 321⁄2-inch-tall unit is positioned on six casters, two of which have brakes to ease transport for cleaning or maintenance.
The Omcan 46505 (FR-CN-0600) chest freezer's temperature range spans from -8 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate various frozen foods. To achieve and maintain desired temperatures, this unit shouldn't be installed in areas exceeding 75 degrees Fahrenheit and 55 percent humidity. Staff can adjust the interior temperature with the mechanical thermostat, and to minimize unseemly ice buildup, operators must manually defrost the unit and expel residue through the integrated defrost drain. The unit's 20.3-cubic-foot-capacity interior can accommodate six baskets and includes two baskets that can effectively present discounted items, seasonal foods, or frozen novelties.
