For storing and merchandising various frozen foods, the Omcan 46504 (FR-CN-0445) chest freezer can maintain temperatures from -8 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit; the temperature can be adjusted by operators as inventory changes. To achieve desired temperatures, it shouldn't be installed in areas exceeding 55 percent humidity or 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Its 15.3-cubic-foot aluminum interior accommodates five baskets—two baskets are included—to organize frozen novelties or seasonal specials and create a neat partition against other merchandised items. Although this unit requires manual defrost, it's built with a defrost drain to ease cleanup.
The Omcan 46504 (FR-CN-0445) chest freezer measures 60 inches wide by 29 inches deep by 321⁄2 inches high and is fitted with four casters. Two of these casters include brakes for stability during use. For simple incorporation into various decorative themes in supermarkets and convenience stores, its rigid, corrosion-resistant steel exterior is powder-coated white. Its flat, solid lid remains secured in place once it's opened so staff can seamlessly load and remove products without holding it open, and for a modern accent, the lid's handle is recessed.
