Norlake KODB88-C 8' x 8' Outdoor Walk-In Cooler w/ Top-Mounted Compressor - Floor

As a standard model in the Kold Locker™ series, the Norlake KODB88-C walk-in outdoor cooler measures 8 feet wide by 8 feet deep by 6 feet 7 inches high and features a 26-inch-wide by 66-inch-tall door. Its modular wall, floor, and ceiling panels can be assembled using the male and female mating rails and cam locking fasteners to create a properly aligned, airtight seal. To conserve energy and create a durable panel structure, 4-inch-thick polyurethane insulation is foamed in place into each panel. Its interior and exterior panels are finished with stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant 26-gauge coated steel, while the flooring is made of smooth aluminum. To accommodate heavy shelves of bulk foods, the floor can support an evenly distributed load of 800 pounds per square feet.

The entrance door opens smoothly and self-closes due to its cam-lift hinges and spring-actuated door closure to ease stocking and retrieving inventory. So staff have a full view of the interior, a vapor-proof LED light illuminates the storage area. Users can quickly turn the light on or off with the corresponding switch, and an exterior pilot light will indicate if the light is on or off. Operators quickly discern the unit's interior temperature with the digital thermometer to ensure products are stored in a food-safe environment. After business hours, the deadbolt handle can be locked. To prevent employees from becoming trapped inside the cooler, it's built with an inside safety release mechanism.

To achieve an interior temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit, the Norlake KODB88-C walk-in cooler comes with a top-mount Capsule Pak™ refrigeration system. For best results, this unit should be used in areas no warmer than 90 degrees Fahrenheit. A weather protection kit is included to shield the cooler from outdoor elements. For simple setup, the one-piece, 35-millimeter white membrane roof material doesn't need to be seamed or glued to the ceiling panels, and the metal trim for the roof's flashing can be secured to the wall panels with self-drilling and self-tapping TEK screws.
