The Norlake KODB77810-C Kold Locker™ walk-in cooler is an 8-foot-wide by 10-foot-deep by 7-foot-7-inch-tall unit designed for outdoor placement. To simplify setup, its modular wall, floor, and ceiling panels feature male and female mating rails that properly align the panels during installation, and cam locking fasteners that create an airtight seal that enhances energy efficiency. All panels are foamed in place with 4-inch-thick polyurethane insulation that creates a sturdy structure and provides an R-25 thermal resistance value. The interior and exterior panels are finished with stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant 26-gauge coated steel for lasting durability. To accommodate bulk items, the smooth aluminum flooring can accommodate an evenly distributed load of 800 pounds per square foot.

The cooler's 26-inch-wide by 78-inch-tall right-hinged door opens and closes smoothly thanks to its cam-lift hinges and spring-actuated door closer. The door closes automatically to minimize temperature fluctuations and deter pests from entering. Inside the unit, a vapor-proof LED light brightens the room, and a digital thermometer provides an accurate readout of interior temperatures. Operators can quickly turn the light on and off with the light switch, and the exterior pilot light indicates if the interior light is on. After business hours, the door's deadbolt handle can be locked to deter theft and tampering. To minimize the chance of employees getting locked inside the cooler, they can safely exit with the inside release mechanism.
