Norlake KODB7768-C 6' x 8' Outdoor Walk-In Cooler w/ Top-Mounted Compressor - Floor

Designed to endure outdoor placement, the Norlake KODB7768-C Kold Locker™ walk-in cooler is equipped with a weather protection kit, which includes a one-piece, 35-millimeter white membrane roof material and a metal trim for the roof's flashing. To simplify installation, the roof material doesn't require seaming or gluing, and the trim can be secured to the wall panels with self-drilling, self-tapping TEK screws. Although this unit ships fully unassembled, its modular wall, floor, and ceiling pieces can be locked together and secured in the appropriate position with the cam locking fastener system and male and female mating rails. To retain generated temperatures and establish a sturdy structure, 4-inch-thick polyurethane insulation is foamed into each panel to create an R-25 thermal resistance rating for the walls, door, and ceiling. Both the interior and exterior panels are finished with a corrosion-resistant 26-gauge coated steel with stucco embossments.

This unit can support 800 pounds per square foot on its smooth aluminum flooring when the weight is evenly distributed. For enhanced visibility inside the unit, an LED light fixture is built above the door. Staff can quickly turn the light on and off with the corresponding switch, and the exterior pilot light shines when the interior light is on so operators don't leave the light on when not in use. The digital thermostat provides an accurate digital readout of interior temperatures so operators can ensure foods are held at safe temperatures. This runs with a Capsule Pak™ refrigeration system to maintain an interior temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit. To prevent the refrigeration unit from overworking, this cooler shouldn't be used in ambient settings hotter than 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Users can enter and exit the Norlake KODB7768-C outdoor walk-in cooler via its 26-inch-wide by 78-inch-tall door. While its cam-rise hinges enhance mobility, its magnetic gaskets and spring-actuated door closer ensure secure door closure with a tight seal. Staff can lock the deadlock handle and padlock to prevent unauthorized access, and in the event an employee becomes locked inside the unit, they can use the inside safety release to safely exit.
