Norlake KLF812-C 8' x 12' Indoor Walk-In Freezer w/ Top-Mounted Compressor - Floor

To create a dedicated space for storing frozen foods, the Norlake KLF812-C Kold Locker™ walk-in freezer measures 8 feet wide by 12 feet deep by 6 feet 7 inches high. This unit is designed for use with its Capsule Pak™ refrigeration unit or the Norlake CPF150PC-S-4 Capsule Pak ECO™ refrigeration system. So this system can maintain an interior temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit, it must be stored in ambient settings that don't exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

For simple setup, this walk-in is comprised of modular wall, ceiling, and floor panels that feature male and female mating rails to ensure proper alignment during installation, and cam locking fasteners that create an airtight seal for enhanced energy efficiency. Each panel is built with 4-inch-thick foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation for a sturdy structure and an R-32 thermal resistance value for the walls, ceiling, and door and an R-28 value for the floor. While the interior and exterior panels are finished with a corrosion-resistant, stucco-embossed 26-gauge coated steel, the floor is made of smooth aluminum and accommodates an evenly distributed load of 800 pounds per square foot.

The Norlake KLF812-C indoor freezer's 26-inch-wide by 66-inch-tall entrance door features cam-lift hinges that enable it to open and close smoothly, while the spring-actuated door closer and magnetic gasket securely hold the door shut. Inside the unit, a vapor-proof LED light positioned above the door illuminates the space, and a corresponding light switch lets users turn it on and off quickly. So operators can ensure the light is off during non-business hours, a pilot indicator light is built onto the exterior. Staff can quickly determine the interior temperature with the digital thermometer. To prevent users from becoming locked inside the unit, a safety release mechanism enables staff to exit from the inside. After business hours, the deadbolt handle and padlock can be locked to deter tampering and theft.
