Lang 248T Description
Using LP gas, the Lang 248T LG Series gas countertop griddle heats its 48-inch-wide by 23-inch-deep cooking surface in four separate cooking sections with 27,000-BTU burners. Able to reach temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit, the burners are adjusted by snap-action thermostatic controls, and the temperature is monitored by internal sensors to ensure heat is evenly distributed and retained. Good for high-volume use, the griddle has a 1-inch-thick, polished steel griddle plate that holds onto heat for back-to-back use, and it won't crack over time due to its thick structure.
Made of stainless steel, the Lang 248T commercial griddle is resistant to corrosion and easy to wipe down for long-lasting, sanitary use. Designed to sit on a countertop, it's lifted with legs that adjust from 1.38 inches to 4 inches to meet spacing needs. Its overall 20.2-inch height prevents heat-based damage to the countertop and increases surface area beneath the unit for cleaning. Grease removal is assisted with the 5.5-inch side and rear splash guards, which contain hot popping oil on the plate surface. Once oil is contained, the operator can scrape leftover particles into the grease trough for removal in the grease drawer.
