Lang 224T Description
Each 12-inch section of the Lang 224T LG Series gas countertop griddle has its own temperature controls, creating two separate cook zones to simultaneously cook different foods. Equipped with a 1-inch-thick steel griddle plate on its 24-inch-wide by 23-inch-deep cooking surface, the unit operates with 27,000-BTU burners that ignite electronically for sectional control. Internal sensors are embedded 0.19-inch from the surface for quick response and recovery. The Accu-Temp™ snap-action thermostats have a temperature range between 200 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit to support several cooking methods, such as reheating and grilling.
The Lang 224T commercial griddle's 24.1-inch-wide by 31.6-inch-deep by 20.2-inch-high body is constructed of a corrosion-resistant stainless steel, so it won't get damaged in humid kitchen environments. Its legs can be raised or lowered from 1.38 inches to 4 inches to accommodate kitchen spacing needs, and this supportive design prevents harmful heat transfer from the bottom of the unit to the surface on which it's stored. Rear and side splash guards tower 5.5 inches above the griddle plate, preventing hot oil from sloshing onto nearby surfaces. Once oil is contained, it can be scraped into the 3.5-inch by 1-inch grease trough and into the 8-quart grease drawer for streamlined cleanup.
